Motorbike Camper Trailer

We have developed a full size camper trailer with an electric lifting system allowing the camper tent to be lifted at the press of a button to a comfortable height  allowing three full size motorbike to be rolled up into the back of the trailer.

The trailer has been designed for the motorbike enthusiast who likes get away with the family and needs that extra trailer space for camping gear.

One on the best features of MX Camper is to use this as a motorbike trailer. Then have the luxury of the full 10ft quick release camper that sleeps the whole family and more when heading away.

The MX Camper Trailer has a unique locking system which secures the camper to the top frame and back ramp when using as a motorbike trailer, this also doubles up as a security area to prevent bike being stolen. We have added a large 3 metre awning which gives you and the family a generous shade area for day trips and also covers the kitchen area when cooking.

The front box has a 304 stainless kitchen area with water tap connected  to a 65 litre water tank, next to the kitchen sink is an extended flip over panel for more food preparation. Behind the kitchen we have a checker plate compartment section to hold a 2 or 3 burner flat gas BBQ. The top front section of the box has a compartment lid sectioned off from the back section giving a wide storage area. One the other side of the kitchen we have added another lockable door where you will find enough room for a good size esky.

The base of the trailer has three side compartments each side. The back left compartment holds a powerful 130 deep cell battery, connected to a 2.5 Amp 3 Stage Battery Charger which is attached to plug at the back of the trailer for easy charging. The battery also runs to an Anderson plug ensuring maximum charge reliability. We have also connected the battery to four 12 volt points around the trailer giving power inside the Tent and out.

Other features of the side compartments and the two slide draws above the wheel hub for excess storage and another three full side trailer doors one of which is used for Gas bottle storage.

The base of the trailer is fitted with a full size checker plate floor for extra grip when needed for running up motorbikes in any conditions. We have added three front wheel braces and a generous amount of tie down points to secure all bikes even when going to off road locations. The back ramp is made from heavy duty mesh with a re-enforced outer frame and a wide run up area for you and the bike.

 

The lifting system is pulled by a 2.5 tonne winch lifting the tent to a height of 1.5 mtrs allowing any full size mx or adventure bike to fit in. We have also allowed more than enough room to fit the big quad in the back with room to spare. Once the tent is lifted we have four safety locking points at the front frame and two at the back ramp. This has locks in place and allows the trailer to a secure unit for travel.
